How EU and U.S. Online Users Navigate Browser Fingerprinting: Awareness, Attitudes and Privacy Choices

Dear survey participants,

welcome to the survey 'How EU and U.S. Users Navigate Browser Fingerprinting: Awareness, Attitudes and Privacy Choices'.

As part of our study in the seminar 'Security and Privacy Economics' at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), we are collecting data regarding user awareness of and behavior towards online tracking - particularly browser fingerprinting in the EU and U.S. under the GDPR and U.S. privacy laws, e.g., CCPA and CDPA.

You can take part in the survey if:

  • You live in the EU or U.S.

This survey will ask you questions about demographics.

You are able to withdraw your consent and stop the survey at any point without giving any reason by clicking on the 'Leave and delete my data' button.

This survey will take at maximum 10 minutes.

All data collected from this survey will be anonymous, it will only be used for scientific purposes and will not be passed on to third parties. Your response will be deleted after 3 months.
