Welcome!

Dear participants,

Thank you for your willingness to take part in this study. This study is being conducted as part of a bachelor's thesis in the field of Communication and Media Research at the University of Freiburg (Switzerland).

Korean pop music, known as Kpop, is a globally recognized phenomenon. Kpop idols are professionally trained singers and dancers who perform in the Korean pop music industry, either as part of groups or as solo artists. To gain a deeper understanding of the unique aspects of Kpop, this study examines how media content featuring Kpop idols is perceived and how it influences individuals.

In this questionnaire, you will first answer a few questions about yourself. You will then watch a short video and share your impressions afterward. Your personal data will not be retained after the survey period. Your responses will be analyzed anonymously, treated confidentially, and cannot be traced back to you. Your data will be used exclusively for scientific purposes.

Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 15–20 minutes. There are no right or wrong answers; we are solely interested in your personal perspective.

Your time and contribution are greatly appreciated.
