INFORMED CONSENT

This research is part of a project carried out by psychologists from the University of Belgrade. The research was approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) (protocol number 2024-84).

What is this research about and what will it look like?

In this study we aim to develop and test new psychological assessment tools. So, on the following pages you will be asked to answer a series of questions about yourself, your attitudes and beliefs. Participating in the research will take no longer than 45 minutes.

What are the possible benefits from participating?

By taking part in this research, you are helping us to develop and evaluate new psychological assessment tools. In addition, you could find the questionnaire interesting on its own merit. 

How can I be sure that my responses will be anonymous? 

All your responses to this questionnaire will be anonymous, and there is no way to connect them to your personal information. We will not ask you to provide any personal information, such as your name, surname, or telephone number, at any point. 

What will happen in the future with my responses? 

All information you provide in this research will be analyzed at the group level, and we will never report any results at the individual level. Drawing from the results, the research team will publish findings in scientific journals or present them at scientific conferences. In line with open science practices, the anonymized database will be uploaded to the project website and an academic platform for safe data-sharing.

To take part in this research, you must be 18 or older, and currently reside in the USA. Participation is voluntary, and you can at any time decide to withdraw, without any consequences or stating a reason for it.
